Marie Curie Cancer Care is inviting the Yorkshire legal community to escape to the Peak District and take part in the award winning Great Escape Challenge. The event will be taking place over the weekend of May 20th – 22nd 2011.
Last year the Great Escape Challenge, in the Brecon Beacons, raised over £120,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care, and recently won ‘Team Building Event of the Year’ from Event Magazine.
The Great Escape Challenge is now coming to Yorkshire. Over 48 hours teams of four will be camping, hiking and biking in the heart of the stunning Peak District National Park. During these physical challenges teams will also face various team challenges to test mind, body and team spirit.
Brian Curran, Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Regional Corporate Development Manager said ‘This is a fantastic event which will be attractive to those competitive corporate teams looking for a challenge. Teams will be challenged to use communication and leadership skills as well as logical thinking to win this competition. As well as winning team Building Event of the Year the event has been shortlisted for other awards’
One of last year’s participants, Frazer Suddick advised teams to “ Prepare well and then buckle up for a day and night you’ll never forget’
