Through Leeds Legal, the city’s lawyers are leading the way in forging international business links for Leeds. In conjunction with the campaign’s main sponsor, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) – the British government’s international trading organisation – Leeds Legal has undertaken an ambitious international programme, including facilitating delegation visits to and from Europe, Asia and the Americas.
In order to give Leeds lawyers the opportunity to increase their business contacts overseas, and to attract new business to the city, Leeds Legal carries out and receives regular international delegation visits to all corners of the business globe.
Many of the delegation visits arranged by Leeds Legal have resulted in reciprocal inward visits from overseas business cities to Leeds, allowing them to experience the city, and its legal services for themselves.
With assistance from campaign sponsors Jet2.com and Hilton Leeds City hotel, over 100 overseas delegates have been welcomed to Leeds.
